Before the asylum closed there were allegations of patient rape and abuse...someone said they chopped someone up, but I don't know if it's true. Sadly, rape and abuse happened a lot in all of these places. :( Patients were sometimes killed by their doctors because they didn't know how to treat insane people and just made it worse.
