My birthday is Tuesday, April 12th. Each year people write in asking if they can send me a gift. I am very grateful that people feel this way! I am glad that I can bring some happiness to your lives! However, this year is different.

Last year, I put my money where my mouth is – I funded and implemented my own Indie Creator convention. Intervention. Internet Convention. This is the place for all types of art, fandom, and gaming as defined by the internet – our future. On the internet all of our voices can be heard.

This June 10-12, 2011 I’ll be a guest at AnimeNEXT in the Garden State Exhibit Center in Somerset, NJ.

I hope that some of you locals can come out and see me – It’s rather new that I get the opportunity to do something cool in my home state. For years I had this unconscious knack of getting invited to conventions that were all way out of state! :D Haha! :) Those of you who can’t make it to my other appearances now have no excuse! :)

And yes I announced it before it’s on the site. I’ll be listed up there soon, don’t you worry. :D

I have never really been a fan of “Wild Mouse” style coasters. On their own they can be boring. When combined with things they are rarely executed well. For example, The Dark Knight coaster at Six Flags Great Adventure is awful. It isn’t strong enough to be a good thrill ride and it isn’t themed well enough during the actual ride to be much of anything. The stationary pre-show is the best part of this ride.

It seems that the Australians got it right with the Scooby Doo Spooky Coaster at Movie World. This ride has a classic dark ride in beginning that leads into a well-themed Wild Mouse. It seems that they played with it to really mess with your head. The end is awesome and also well-themed. Here it is with the lights on:

I’ll be at Wild Pig Comics in Somerset, NJ all day Sunday, April 3rd (Tomorrow). I’ll have a sales table and there will be lot of other artists and comic stuff to buy. It’s good to be at an event in my home state. :)
