WAT THE ROTFLCOPTER!?!?!?

I have just added a button on the left nav bar for “Haunted Attractions”. After having gone through 26 haunted houses so far this Halloween season, it seems to me that some of the haunts have false reviews posted on their review pages in google. I don’t know why this is the case, but it stinks.

To solve that problem, I’m going to be the guinea pig and go to every one that I can. Then I’ll post up honest, unbiased reviews, and fun pictures. I had at least one cock a dookie WTF ass crap bad experience this season so far that completely did not live up to what was posted online in google. Once is enough to make me into a crusader for truth, justice, and spooks.

Nothing is worse than feeling ripped off while leaving something that is supposed to be fun.

So, this feature will likely get more use next year, but I still have some fun stories and reviews to post from this month that I haven’t had a chance to write yet! Luckily most have been positive! :D

Of course, if any of you live near an event that I can’t get to..I would love to hear your thoughts as well. If I receive submissions that are well-written, I’ll post them up as guest blogs. :D

OK, so I forgot to take pictures of the result of my cooking experiment. It was not a disaster and I did not set anything on fire. I found that apparently I’m really good at it. I made Cucumber Salad, Chicken Tenders, and Chickpea Couscous from Martha Stewart. If you want the recipe you can get it here. It takes less than an hour from start to finish. (Even for me!)

So basically it was so good that both days we ate it and forgot to take a photo. I have never seen Harknell so happy. Oh! I also made hand-dipped caramel apples for dessert!

Win! Next time I will remember to take pictures. D: I think I’m making a ground beef and cornbread skillet pie on Monday. My office closes for most of December, so I’ll have time to make fancier things.

Wow check this out! A giant rat was found inside a volcano in New Guinea! He is the size of a cat. The crazy thing is that he does not fear humans at all and seems not to mind when people pet him.

I want one!!! I would call he or she Hercules, Lysander, Valkyrie, or Snoots and it would have a baby bonnet and a dress or a jaunty Englishman’s hat.

I wish I could have gone to this special party that was held at Disneyland in Calfornia. Disney World in Florida seems to ignore their Haunted Mansion. You can’t even get any merchandise for it in the park! How many bets when it turns 40 they will..just ignore it!?!? :/
