The hand drawn and colored original is $250. Email me if you want it. The detail on this one is RIDICULOUSLY ornate. I drew individual blades of grass by hand and the stitching of her armor was done individually in metallic gold.

NYCC granted me professional membership this year, so I’ll be heading out to the comicon.

It’s going to be super crowded. @_@ If I get scared away by the crowds you can find me somewhere in NYC eating Japanese food. Probably with a lot of other webcomics.

“They lost control when they saw Jack Sparrow.”

It has been reported that the Jack Sparrow actors have been fired from Disneyland in Anaheim, CA. The reason? Breasts!

Apparently women are so into Jack Sparrow that multiple incidents of women flashing their breasts at and with the Jack Sparrow actors caused concern by the Disney Parks management.

Disneyland immediately switched their focus to Tinkerbell. Mr. Sparrow can only be found high atop large floats at special televised parades – usually ones from Disney World in Florida as opposed to Disneyland in Califoirnia.

Poor Jack Sparrow. He can’t help being a chick magnet.

I was in a conference room today with a few executives. Some others called in on the polycom.

We finished up the business at hand and the first one dropped off. The polycom said” “[Name] has left the conference.”

The following conversation happened:

Oni: Am I the only one who has the urge to sign into the con call as Elvis? That way when you hang up the phone it will say “Elvis has left the call.”

Boss: …ummm. Yeah, you are the only one.

Oni: Oh well, too bad for you.

The moral is: Keep your head up. and good things will come to you. If you can’t, just pretend you are The King.

There was a report to the Disney Blog here that Disney World in Orlando’s Adventurer’s Club was seen open for business in early January 2009 despite having been closed in 2008.

The Adventurer’s Club is the most loved Disney club of all time. I am sad to say that I never was able to get the chance to experience it. Just one look at the Wikipedia entry for it will explain to you why this club was so loved.

Disney had agreed to honor any pre-booked private parties throughout 2008, but this is clearly 2009. A tactic that Disney also uses is to test the viability of attractions through soft openings like this.

It has been noted that since closing all of the clubs in Pleasure Island, Disney hasn’t been able to find enough retailers to fill the void that was made by the Pleasure Island Suicide of 2008. Instead, they replaced many clubs with a few restaurants and a Hanes custom T Shirt store.

Perhaps Disney has finally listened to the high volume of complaints and reconsidered. I surely hope so. OMG I’m already excited.

EDIT: It looks like it was open for a private party related to the marathon, however, it seems that they still have the whole club and cast intact???
