ATTENTION EVERYONE! WE HAVE HOT, DRUNK FINNISH METAL GUYS IN THE HOUSE!

Melodic metal band Sonata Arctica of Finland will be the support band for melodic symphonic metal band Nightwish on the third leg of their US Tour! This will be two of my favorite bands together in one night of metal!

This is the mecha zombie concert of awesome made from the bodies of other BEST EVAR concerts! I have to thank Laurymdragon for tipping me off to this!

I’ll be there if at all possible. I had purchased tickets to the Sonata Arctica show at New Jersey’s Starland Ballroom last month, but I was too tired to go, so I ended up missing the show. This show would totally make up for that.

This is a new experiment I figured I’d try. I hit record and I just talk about something crazy. This time, I talk about street harassment.

Normally my weekends consist of zombifed art making and the running of errands. This time, I have had the most crazy weekend evar. It took me until the end of the week to write it up!

On Friday we visited Xyloart at her place and we watched this hilarious horror film from New Zealand called Black Sheep. I will write a review later. In the meantime go watch it!

After the film Harknell went to take his allergy medication and he ended up swallowing some foil from the package. It had gotten stuck to the back of the pill and it was dark. This was scary because it was stuck in his throat. We all piled into the car and went to the ER. 3 hours later, finally a doctor came to help us. The funny thing was that he coughed it up right before the doctor came into the room.

That was lucky! I told Harknell that I would beat him up if he did that again. :) I am glad everything ended up OK. It was dangerous… Look how big it was:

On Saturday Harknell surprised me with an early birthday present…an Apple iPhone! I am using the iPhone to write this post. I’ll post a review of it later, too. Harknell really outdid himself this time. It was the last thing I expected. Best birthday gift EVAR. I think he likes me. :)

Then we met up with Scaredpoet to get pancakes the size of large pizzas at Harold’s NY Deli. They specialize in oversized food that you split with friends. See details here.

We were all tired so the three of us fell asleep in our chairs back at my apartment. Whee! Nap time! By the time we woke up the shops were open, so it was off to the Apple Store to look at accessories.

After all this excitement Harknell and I passed out asleep most of Easter Sunday until it was time to see Doro Pesch live at the Highline Ballroom in NYC. I’ll post my pix, videos, and concert review very soon. This show kicked ass!
