Great idea, but at $99.00 for only 256 MB…it’s a bit too pricey for that tiny bit of storage. I gave away the ducks with no USB for free to some of my Harknell.com members a while ago…they didn’t cost much. It’s certainly not worth jacking the price like this when USB drives are so cheap these days.

So I used to eat fresh plums when I was a kid. I saw a package of “Dried Plums” in the store. I was like, “Oh wow, plums! I used to like those!” Then I ate like a ton of them because they were tasty.

So many of you email me and otherwise contact me daily to tell me that you found you new favorite band through me. I swear these labels should pay me. DO YOU HEAR THAT, LABELS? I’LL TAKE FREE CDS AND SWAG.

My favorite band of the moment is Arch Enemy. They are black metal, so it sounds screamy at first. I did not like it on the first listen. The second listen I fell in love. The songs are remarkably well-structured and just…good. I don’t know of any other black metal band that does it this well. So far, these guys ARE the genre for me.

Arch Enemy have the distinction of being one of the bands who got rid of their first singer (male) and replaced him with a new (female) singer which was almost unanimously well-received by metal fans. Normally the replacement has problems being accepted..this was not the case for Angela Gossow. She was immediately held up as superior in every way. I agree that it is true.

Also, you might not know that Angela Gossow uses healthy techniques to make her demon voice, so shes not hurting herself. It’s been documented on youtube here via a Melissa Cross vocal lesson. Here it is:

Their newest album, Rise of the Tyrant owns. Every track is strong, possibly stronger than Doomsday Machine, which also owned. I can’t get Blood is On your Hands out of my head. Watch it here, but (for you impatient people) make sure you let it play till the chorus to see what I mean:
