Recently I’ve had to wear my nasty glasses because of an eye infection. My glasses are not pretty. They are not normal glasses. I hate them, but whatever, I can’t see.

I did notice that while walking around I was treated differently. Normally I have to deal with idiots hitting on me, which is stupid. Now because I have these glasses on, I’m pretty much ignored, which is also stupid. I don’t like either extreme, because it really cements my low opinion of humanity. You can be the hot chick or you can be the ugly chick. You can never be regarded as an equal or as anything less than the sum of the lowest common denominator of your parts.

It reminds me of the time I intentionally sexually harassed a frat boy to prove a point. I was in a pre-college science program. He was one of our chaperons. One night they took us all out to mandatory roller skating as an activity. He began loudly checking out the girls while myself and a few other younger girls were within earshot. My friends were getting irritated with him because he was just spouting off to himself for no real reason.

I said REALLY loudly to him “Hey you have a nice ass you sonof a bitch. Nice shorts with that little round man ass.” He was like, “What?” I told him he had a supple bitch ass and I stood up and asked for onlookers to check out his bitch ass. He quickly started leaving our area and asked me what my problem was as he went. I replied with,

“How does it feel to you?”

Everyone within earshot busted out laughing and the guy ran off.

I went out to get a Raspberry Mocha after work today because of all the goddamn hysteria online over the discontinuation of the old raspberry syrup and the replacement of it with this new syrup. Basically most Starbucks locations were out of raspberry syrup for a month before the big launch date of the new syrup. Some locations decided to just give out the new syrup early, others decided to honor the launch date and not give out the syrup. Apparently this is the recipe for TEH STARBUX DRAMAZ.

It seems a customer got mad that they were able to get raspberry syrup at one location but when they encountered a store that chose to follow the rules and not give the syrup out till launch date. got mad and sent in a really long-winded letter to Starbucks.

Now, I’m all for customer service. I have actually sent in a complaint letter to Starbucks myself after an employee yelled in my face when she messed up my drink order. (Read the bottom of this page for the full story.) But I’m reasonable.

I find this whole demanding raspberry syrup thing a bit unreasonable. It’s not like Starbucks has to give you raspberry all the time or else. They spent marketing dollars on the promotional materials for the new syrup’s launch date. Perhaps it was poor planning to run out of the old stuff a month before the launch, but whatever. It’s not like raspberry is vital to anyone. Big deal. Just order another drink.

I dunno. My world will continue to function if I have to not have my favorite drink for a month. I tried the raspberry mocha today and..it’s just a mocha with some fucking fruits in it.

I saw a sign posted around the college last semester encouraging other students to walk out of class together at a specific time to protest the war in Iraq.

Yeah…go ahead and you show those professors. Yeah…education….who needs that?

God, some of the dumbest shit in the history of my sphincter I have seen on campus. This is dumber than going to a restaurant and yelling at your waiter because your parents got divorced.

OMG best thing EVAR is that the Sam and Max bonus CD is now out! This means since I bought the downloads earlier I can get them on a disc now for just the price of shipping. LOOKY. Also, they have this awesome thing just like back in the day when games came with cool shit. I AM SO BUYING THIS.

Telltale Games knows how to do it RIGHT. They are the first company that I’ve seen to just totally nail right on the head what the fans want. I want them to make more stuff so I can buy more stuff. This is great! Best game EVAR. Best company EVAR. Best merch EVAR.
