I think that the scariest thing about being an artist of any sort is that you have to be alone with yourself. There is a person in the mirror. Trust me, you will have to come to terms with her if you are going to get any work done today. You can stare at a blank canvas or a blank notebook or a blank New Document in Word, These things all amount to the same thing. You might as well be looking at your own reflection. It stares blankly back at you.
